Water of the Euganean thermal basin, comes from the Prealps flowing at about 3000 meters of depth till our Euganean Hills. In its path, it is enriched with mineral salts and it gushes out at about 80ºC. The Hotel has its own source of water that we use for the maturation of thermal mud based on algae from our Euganean Hills, for inhalation therapies and for our pools, cooling the water to a temperature of about 34°C-36°C.
The Centro Studi Termali Pietro d’Abano, after years of studies, has highlighted the effectiveness of the treatments of the Thermae of Abano and Montegrotto obtaining a patent which guarantees the presence in the thermal mud of numerous active ingredients naturally produced and which have important anti-inflammatory effects. The AbanoRitz, with its thermal zone inside the hotel, in addition to wellness treatments, also offers mud therapy and inhalation therapies and ENT. It is affiliated with the National Health System for Italian citizens.
Usually, our thermal center also welcomes adventitious guests, upon reservation, for mud and inhalations from Monday to Saturday mornings and for insufflations from Tuesday to Friday mornings. On the 8th of June, after the long closure due to the worldwide pandemic emergency, the first department of AbanoRitz to open the doors will be the care department, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 13:00.
