Il Bel Canto italiano – Concert for The Colors of Music in the World

Friday, June 23th, at 9:15 pm, the Hotel AbanoRITZ hosts the new concert of the Festival “The Colors of Music in the World“. Maurizio Saltarin, tenor, Maria Grazia Moratello, soprano accompanied by Antonio Camponogara at the piano will guide our guests on a musical journey through the Italian Bel Canto, with arias and duets drawn from the famous operas of Verdi, Puccini, Rossini and Bellini.

 

The festival

Each concert crosses a different country of the world, carrying the listener away through traditional melodies, classical repertoires and contemporary sounds. It is imagined as a journey that connects different countries, ideally a homage to all our international guests that, during these years, that during the years let us intertwine a long history of hospitality and reception.

The concerts are realized together with Associazione Klyo Music from Verona. Concert tickets are available in pre-sale at 10,00€. Each concert (except the one on December 29th) comes with two promotions, one that combines the concert to a dinner at our vintage restaurant “Il Brutto Anatroccolo” (38,00€) and the “Concert Week” (150,00€ per person) that includes:

  • concert;
  • 2 nights double room stay;
  • half-board;
  • access to the RitzVital space (thermal pools, sauna, turkish bath, Technogym, emotional showers, hydrorelax space)

The performers

Maurizio Saltarin

He is born in Piacenza d’Adige and lives in Este (Padua – Italy). After classical studies by the Salesians and Universitiy in Bologna begins the study of song with the tenor Danilo Cestari of Legnago ((VR) and the musical studies with the M° Adriano Bassi of Montagnana (PD). He perfects his study with the tenor Carlo Bergonzi and Enza Ferrari. He is the winner of five international lyric competitions: Adria, Naples, Alessandria, Verdian Voices of Busseto and “The Internatonal Voice Competition Luciano Pavarotti Opera Company of Philadelphia”.

He also receives the “El Strapadovanprize from the Venetian Advisory Council of the Province of Padua. In October 2008 he opened the new theater “Tullio Serafin” by Cavarzere with Raina Kabaiwanska. For years he has been the artistic director of the international event “Lyrical voices under the stars – Giovanni Martinelli Prize“. Widely known in the western countries, he is also renowend in the east: Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan and the Philippines.

 

Maria Grazia Moratello

Born in Legnago, graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Verona in opera singing after studying with Vincenzo Cecchetelli and Rina Malatrasi. She then also studied with the tenor Danilo Cestari. She debuts at the Arena di Verona in the opera “Romeo e Giulietta” by Gounod and in the opera “La Rosa di Istambul” at the Verdi Theater in Trieste. She specializes in ancient and liederistic music. Se has an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad and is simultaneously engaged in the teaching of music at state school. She was awarded Academician of the City of Rome, where she had the honour to sing with the great tenor Giuseppe di Stefano. She has been a commissioner in numerous international juries. He has recently collaborated frequently with Maurizio Saltarin.

 

 

Antonio Camponogara

He earned his diploma in piano, studying with M°Franco Angeleri at the Music Conservatory “C. Pollini “in Padua. He subsequently graduated in organ and organ composition and harpsichord, perfecting his studies with masters Michele Campanella and Bruno Canino. He earned the Diploma of Concertism at the “L’Ecole Internazionale de Piano” Fondation CIEM Mozart of Fausto Zadra. He has distinguished himself in the International Competition “F. Liszt” in Budapest (1986), collaborated with the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, the Venetian Soloists and the Virtuos of Venice, with whom he has performed in Italy, Europe and America, and is a professor at the Music Conservatory “C Monteverdi” in Bolzano, and has a repertoire of Mozart and Piano Orchestra, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Ravel concerts, which he performed with various Symphonic and Cameristic Orchestras of Veneto.
