Arena di Verona: the magic of opera under the stars
The vibrant heart of August in Verona is, as always, the Arena. The 2025 Opera Festival, now in its 102nd edition, features an exceptional program with timeless masterpieces such as Aida, Carmen, Turandot, and Rigoletto, brought to life through innovative stagings and internationally renowned casts. September also brings special event evenings with concerts by major stars of contemporary Italian music: Venditti, Nannini, Zucchero, and De Gregori. September is therefore a month rich in major live performances set against the evocative backdrop of the Arena.
Treviso: Hokusai’s Japan on display
Treviso surprises with a refined exhibition dedicated to Katsushika Hokusai, the great master of ukiyo-e. Hosted at the Santa Caterina Museum, the exhibition “Hokusai. Wave and Infinity” features over 200 works, including the iconic The Great Wave and the series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese aesthetics and discover the expressive power of an artist who also influenced Western art.
