With the autumn solstice, the most fascinating season to explore the Euganean Hills Cycle Route officially opened. This 64 km-long cycle path winds its way between asphalted and unpaved stretches that are easy to navigate, offering the chance to admire characteristic villages, ancient monasteries, historic villas and enchanting waterways that were once the area’s main communication routes.

As soon as you leave the hotel the cycle path begins, leading you to Monteortone, passing right in front of the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Salute, which is definitely worth a visit. Continuing to the right, another practically obligatory stop is Praglia Abbey, where you can immerse yourself in the thousand-year history of these Benedictine monks. If, on the other hand, you decide to continue left after Monteortone, you will arrive at Villa Draghi with its wonderful park and the Thermalism Museum, and then discover the Catajo Castle and the evocative Battaglia Terme with its Museum of River Navigation. An adventure that takes you on an immersion in the history of these lands without neglecting the relaxation of a holiday.
