The new APP

The time has come to tell you about the new APP of destination “Thermae Abano Montegrotto” available on the Apple Store and then downloadable from iPhone or iPad, or on Google Play for Android devices.

What is it?

The indoor application, for IOS and ANDROID operating systems, is interconnected with the destination portal visitabanomontegrotto.com and deals with two main topics: health, with all the useful information for tourists, to deepen the topics related to the destination’s core business namely thermalism, and the Euganean territory with the possibility of discovering villas, castles, typical products and events. There is also a third section dedicated to thermal hotels that allow to disclose information about offers and activities to guests during their stay in the chosen hotel.

The APP allows hotels belonging to the ATI between Consorzio Terme Euganee and Consorzio Veneto Acqua and Terme to have a tool to develop interaction with the guests in the structure, both during the stay on the territory and in subsequent phases, with the different logics required from an Indoor APP, and to customize the structuring of contents.

But let’s better understand what this new channel of communication consists of and above all the reason why the AbanoRITZ, which was an active part of the project, decided to welcome it into its background of 50 years of hotel hospitality. We wanted to do it through a pleasant chat with Laura, SPA Consultant of the Thermae and Wellness Department at AbanoRITZ, who has been involved in the program right from the start.

Laura, how did you look at this new proposal?

Thanks to my work I have the pleasure of having a direct contact with the public and initially I was far from thinking how the communication related to new technologies could increase the visibility of all the services we have to offer our guests; I take care to welcome them and explain to them the many treatments offered by AbanoRITZ, helping them to find the best solution for their needs and requirements. Since I began to understand the importance and efficiency of this application, thanks to the encouragement from my manager, General manager and owner Ida Poletto, and the Valentina’s support – Content manager, the step to begin to glimpse like all this could make new and valid implementations to the company’s communication services, it was very short.

How do you think the new APP at the AbanoRITZ could be useful?

Belonging to the more technical field linked to digital marketing, which I believe plays a fundamental and decisive role for the support of hotel management, the new APP has inspired me first of all to give renewed impulse to the Thermae and Medical Welness and Relaxation department so as to allow our guests-customers to know all the services of the hotel’s health and SPA area, greatly assisting and strengthening the reception area. Not only that, I think that this opportunity can easily be extended to all the internal and external services of the structure to give full visibility and newness in the moment in which our guest is staying here with us.

Specifically, what can we find in the APP in relation to Hotel informations?

The APP allows you to have direct access to all the contents of the Hotel such as descriptions of the spaces of the structure, photos, videos, “last-second” offers, useful information to the user on all the services available in our House- Hotel.

How do I access the Thermae Abano Montegrotto APP?

At the Reception you can find the QR Code box to point with the smartphone to scan it or to enter to access the contents of the Hotel through the APP previously downloaded.

From the main menu of the APP you can choose the items of the different categories and display the related contents, which may consist of information, activities, services; accompanied by short titles, preview images, text content and downloadable pdf to keep in your smartphone. Moreover, there will be the possibility to request further informations through the appropriate contact form.

You can receive notifications in real time that will appear in the appropriate area to be updated on events, initiatives and festivities not to be missed and to be pleasantly invited to interact with the APP, but above all to stay in touch with the colorful world of AbanoRitz!

The Hotel is always in turmoil with the numerous activities, both internal and external, related to leisure and to the pleasure of relaxation and, from now on, I will have and we will have the pleasure to activate the application with precious contents to satisfy more and more our audience, at the same time making the most of new technologies.
