Monday the 7th of October at 9.30 p.m., the AbanoRitz Hotel will host the China-Europe Ensemble in the luxurious Mirrors’ Room. The flute of Luisa Sello and the piano of Aurora Sabia, with the notes already known by our hears, mix to the music of Guoliang Han and Binbin Hu at the flute, Yu Du at the Guzheng and Shuyuan Yang at the Dizi. They bring us in the oriental continent with traditional music and dresses: an unmissable event!
THE ARTISTS
Luisa Sello (flute) has been defined by the New York Concert Review as an “artist with the engaging passion and the spontaneous cantabile, with brilliant technique, excellent control of the breath, generous sound and great charm”. She is the artist chosen by the Italian Minister of Cultural Goods to represent Italian music in the world.
Han Guoliang (flute) got graduated at the Central Conservatory School of Music of Beijing with W. Yongxin and in 1988 he won the grant to the Boston University School of the Arts. This opened to himself the doors in the musical world and he got exhibitions with various American orchestras winning prices in national and international contests. His music has been played again in Europe, Australiam Asia and USA. He is main flute at the Chinese National Symphonic Orchestra, in addition to be president of the China Flute Association and flute professor at the Central Conservatory of Music.
Du Yu (guzheng) has been concert performer since more than 30 years with his traditional Chinese instrument : the Guzheng, the subject of his lectures held all over the world. He is a member of the Chinese musicians Association, in addition to be executive director of the Guzheng National Center of China. He gave concerts in the United States, Austria, France, Japan and Hong Kong and he was guest artist of the Singapore Lion City Chinese Orchestra.
Binbin Hu (flute) has been graduated at the Central Conservatory School of Music of Bejing and in this moment she endows a chair at the Beijing Opera Vocational Art School. She obtained the higher teaching award by the China Flute Association and by the Chinese Musicians Association, being later rewarded with the prestigious Chunhui Award.
Yang Shuyuan (dizi) is member of the Chinese Musicians Association and director of the horn section of this same one in addition to be executive director of the China Fute Professional Committee and vice president of the Henan Wind Music Association. Concert performer as well since more than 30 years, he played in Europe, USA and asian countries. For his presence in the jury of various awards, he has been called as guest tyeacher at the Beijing International Flute Art Festival.
Aurora Sabia (piano) improved with . Gadjiev, K. Eickhorst, B. Lupo, K. Barth, A. Léger, R. Clini and winner of the Ananian Foundation Price, followed the high improvement piano studies with the Maestro A. Delle Vigne at the Schola Cantorum of Paris. He later worked as piano accompanist in France, at the “Conservatoire Régional” of Rennes and in Turckey, at the “Yaşar University” of Smirne.
