From February 17th to 19th, the AbanoRITZ Hotel will host the national convention “Musica è ben-essere e armonia” (“Music is well-being and armony”). The project aims to educate the teachers on well-being and music in school.
The project is financed by the government and promoted by the network Musicaèscuola, that includes the four schools that won the 2015 national announcement.
The network believes that music has a great impact on the education of children and future citizens and that this way of learning should be promoted with all the resources available to schools.
The convention
The three days of national convention in Abano Terme are the start of a series of other initiatives that will take place from January to May 2017, in partnership with universities, conservatories and the National Commettee for the practical learning of music. The issues will be inclusion, togetherness, bodily awareness, relation, access to knowledge. On the opening day will partecipate:
- Emanuele Veronese;
- Antonio Leo;
- Andrea Bergamo;
- Leopoldo Armellin.
On Friday, there will be both theoretical and practical activities, with the contribution of professors, psychologists, psychotherapists and musicians; the next day will be devoted to workshops. On Sunday morning, in Montagnana,the Young Orchestra of Padova’s Conservatory will perform for a closing concert.
Lecturers and speakers will be: Matteo Santipolo, Marco Masoni, Polo Vallejo, Gianni Nuti, Annalisa Spadolini, Luigi Berlinguer, Stefano Baroni, Angela Triarico, Rita Nuti.
The courses will continue then in the other Italian regions involved in the project, with music IT classes, learning activities for orchestra leading, meetings on music teaching regulations and school organization.
