Padua’s Autumn Season Enriched by an International Art Event
From October 16, 2025, Palazzo Zabarella – the cultural heart of the city and a leading exhibition venue for 19th- and 20th-century art – will host the exhibition “Modigliani Picasso and the Voices of Modernity from the LaM Museum.”
This is a unique opportunity to admire in Italy an extraordinary selection of 65 works by 30 avant-garde artists, on loan from the prestigious LaM – Lille Métropole Musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut. Among the highlights are five masterpieces by Pablo Picasso and six by Amedeo Modigliani, presented alongside other great masters who helped define the language of modernity.
The exhibition brings together iconic names (including Joan Miró, Youla Chapoval, André Lanskoy, Alexander Calder, and Bernard Buffet) and exceptional works, structured across six thematic sections that provide a deep exploration of the Cubist avant-garde. Amedeo Modigliani occupies a place of honor with an outstanding group of works, including Moïse Kisling, Boy with Red Hair, Seated Nude with Shirt, and Maternity.
After the success of its collaborations with the Brooklyn Museum (2023) and the Musée de Grenoble (2024), the Bano Foundation at Palazzo Zabarella in Padua (just 12 km from the AbanoRitz) reaffirms its role in fostering international artistic dialogue, positioning Padua as an increasingly central hub in the European cultural landscape.
For art lovers, the OPEN Early Bird ticket is already available from July, at the discounted price, allowing access on any day and time slot until the exhibition closes (January 18, 2026).
An event that transforms a stay at the AbanoRitz into a complete experience of wellness, history, and great art.
