On Sunday, April 30th, the traditional treasure hunt will take place on the Euganean Hills, along the Wine Route. The event will allow you to visit lesser known places, hosted by the companies partner of the Wine Route and tasting the excellent produces of our territory.

The treasure hunt

A day full of taste and discovery, with routes that will twist and turn as always through our Euganean Hills along paths, cycle routes and panoramic roads. The participants will be welcomed in the partner companies to taste together with the producers the gastronomic excellence of the territory, paring the d.o.c. and d.o.c.g. wines to the products of our tradition.

During the course of the day there will be the opportunity to enjoy a complete menu from starters to desserts, and in this edition some tastings will be offered in lesser known places, open exclusively for the occasion.

At each stage participants will be put to the test to complete the game, until the final practice test that will be perfectly set in the medieval atmosphere of Este Castle. Better training to hit the target, because the “Compagnia del Calto” will test everyone with the historic archery.

How to partecipate

The meeting is scheduled for 9:30 am at the Cloister of the Consolations of Este, via Francesconi, 2 (here is the link to the map). The event will end at about 16:00. The event will be held in case of rain as well.

You can take part in treasure hunting by choosing your itinerary between the three different options: walking, cycling or vintage car/ motorcycles. You have to book the ticket because the seats are limited. The cost per person is € 30.00 and includes organization, material for the day, menu and insurance. Enrollment is valid only if accompanied by the advance payment of the ticket. We do not accept subscriptions Sunday 30th April.

Bike rental

For those who want to complete the itinerary by bike, you can also rent one directly to Este on the day of event. Rental must be expressly requested in the registration form but payment will be made on site on Sunday 30 April.
