Abano Terme, known since the ancient Romans era for its magic thermal water, we boast nowadays the deepest swimming pool in the world: The <strong>Y-40 The Deep Joy<\/strong>, which will host, on Thursday the 31<sup>st<\/sup> of October 2019, the <strong>1<sup>st<\/sup> Sea Shepherd Trophy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/seashepherd.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Sea Shepherd Conservation Society<\/strong><\/span><\/a> born in USA in 1977 by an idea of <strong>Paul Watson<\/strong>, Greenpeace member at that time that chooses to let in order to find a different approach at the resolution of the environmental problems. It is this organization of eco-pirates, as they like to call themselves, that sailing under the Dutch flag deals with protecting marine life through direct actions, information campaigns, that investigates and furnishes proof when safeguard ocean laws are not respected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the biggest successes of Sea Shepherd has surely been obtained in the actions against the illegal fishing and the whale and seal hunting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2010, with the docking in La Spezia of the Sea Shepherd flagship, the MV Steve Irwin, has officially born the Italian ONLUS Sea Shepherd.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is right this ONLUS which organizes an original and exciting contest: on Seabobs, fast underwater scooters, eight teams with seven elements each one, VIP in the world of sport, apnea and water lovers, that will challenge, immersed in the Y-40, in underwater courses, trough acrobatics and obstacles, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.\u00a0 of Thursday the 31<sup>st<\/sup> of October.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event, by free donation, will be open at the public already at 9.30 a.m. in order to attend the trials and it will be followed by Radio RTL and national televisions and newspapers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hotelabanoritz.com\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>AbanoRitz Hotel<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, in partnership with this event, we will have the pleasure to host some of these international sportsmen so supporting this important cause: the safeguard of the sea and of its life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sea Shepherd is a nonprofit organization and it is carried on by the dedication and by the work of volunteers who use and give their time, their energies and their own economic resources.
