Last IGTM in Slovenia<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

Perhaps not everyone knows that in the world-wide sport<\/strong> the three most watched events are the Olympics,<\/strong> the World Cup <\/strong>and the Ryder Cup<\/strong> (the world of golf); AbanoRitz<\/strong><\/a><\/span> has also had the pleasure of attending the most important golf event at international level this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The IGTM – International Golf Travel Market<\/strong><\/span> <\/a>is the leading event for the annual golf community since 1998 and brings together over 1.300 golf professionals from around the world for four days of networking and deal making.<\/span> With a turnover of over 9,5 million euros, the unique focus of the event are the pre-programmed meetings that link golf tourism providers<\/strong> with pre-qualified buyers (golf tour operators)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Presenting a different golfing destination each year, IGTM is organized by Reed Exhibitions<\/strong>, the world’s leading trade fair organizer, in collaboration with IAGTO, the International Association of Golf Tour Operators<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, which offers a winning combination of event and industry experience for <\/span><\/span>golf tourism professionals from all over the world.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s IGTM took place in Ljubljana – Slovenia<\/strong> last October and AbanoRitz<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, through Marca Treviso<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, the Tourism Promotion Consortium, and its brand Golf in Veneto<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, IAGTO partner, participated as a hotel located at the <\/strong><\/span>center of a golf network<\/strong> that includes the main golf courses of the Veneto region and easily reachable from the nearby Veneto airports. <\/span>A few kilometers from the Golf Club of Frassanelle<\/span><\/a>, Montecchia<\/a><\/span>, Padua<\/a><\/span> and\u00a0Colli Berici<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, in fact, boasts a strategic position also to be located between the three airports of Treviso<\/a><\/span>, Venice<\/span> <\/a>and Verona<\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
