The two are actually very different activities:\u00a0&#8220;<strong>jogging<\/strong>&#8221; refers to a<strong> slow-paced run,<\/strong> carried out with minimun effort, that aims to increase the wellness feeling without the physical stress of an actual run. <strong>Running<\/strong> has to be practiced only following an<strong> adequate preparation<\/strong> and some basics prerequisites: a medical exam, a normal weight, suitable clothing and a good pair of shoes. <\/span><\/p>\n<h1><strong>How to start<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A lot of <strong>sport stores<\/strong> and <strong>sport associations<\/strong> can offer the<strong> basic theoretical advice on running<\/strong>. It is important to remember that, to obtain a real physical change, <strong>the excercise must be paired with a controlled diet<\/strong> rich in proteins, fruit and vegetables. According to a recent research, the best results are achieved while training in the countryside or in a field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s also very important to <strong>check your BMI (Body Mass Index)<\/strong> before you start running: it should be <strong>under 27 (for men) or under 25 (for women)<\/strong>, otherwise you may want to star with a less intense training. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can calculate your BMI dividing your weight (in kg) by the square of your height (in metres). Based on this formula, the <a href=\"http:\/\/apps.who.int\/bmi\/index.jsp?introPage=intro_3.html\" target=\"_blank\">World Health Organization<\/a> classifies the BMI into <strong>4 categories<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>underweight<\/strong> (BMI under 19)<\/li>\n<li><strong>medium<\/strong> (BMI between 19 and 24)<\/li>\n<li><strong>overwight<\/strong> (BMI
