The territory of the Euganean Hills is awarded the Vinarius Prize

The area of the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills was awarded the 7th Vinarius Prize to the Territory, given on the occasion of the presentation of the “Vinibuoni d’Italia” guide at the Merano Wine Festival.

The award, given by the Italian Winehouse Association, rewards a particular geographical area because of its winemaking vocation, its food offer, its sustainable development, its tradition, history and its tourist reception.

Giving value to the territory

With this recognition, Vinarius renews its commitment to the promotion and enhancement of the Italian landscape and food and wine heritage. The president Andrea Terraneo has thus motivated the choice to reward the Euganean territory:

“The élites of the past, from Francesco Petrarca to the bishops, to the noble Venetians, had already appreciated the gentle hills, the quality of the agricultural products, the wholesomeness of the thermal springs of the first park of the Veneto. New generations already know how to project nationally and internationally a wine production already valuable thanks to the volcanic characteristics of the soil and subsoil, accompanying it with the historical excellences of enogastronomy, the environment and well-being, to witness the uniqueness of this territory “.

However, the announcement is only the beginning: the Prize for the Territory will include an educational tour of the Vinarius Wineshops in the award-winning territory in the coming months, featuring tasting at the same time in all the wine shops of the Association.
