On Sunday, July 2 at 6pm, the Alberta Florence atelier brings its new collection in the park of Villa Valmarana ai Nani in Vicenza, on a mid-summer evening suspended between art, elegance and style, conceived and promoted by Villa Valmarana Caffè . The creations of designer Giulia Mondolfi for this runaway are inspired by the frescoes of Giandomenico Tiepolo, the expressive summit of the 18th century painting: ramage, flowers and stripes in which blue, orange, peony, purple, octane and cobalt are protagonists.

The Atelier Alberta Florence, which we have already known at the presentation of the “Joie de Vivre” capsule collection at Villa dei Vescovi, returns in Veneto for its first runaway show. It will be the newly restored pagoda of the Villa’s park to host the new collection of Giulia Mondolfi, designed to integrate itself with the exoticism of the 18th century painting and the suggestive path in the woods open to the public for the first time.

The collection

For the occasion, the Florentine designer wanted to pay homage to the genius of Giandomenico Tiepolo by creating a series of dresses inspired by the frescoes of the villa’s Foresteria. A small selection of pieces that recall scenes of bucolic life and in particular chinese style typical of exoticism in fashion. Evening and cocktails dresses in which the sophisticated simplicity, typical of the atelier, draws on the East. Motives, such as colors, are stolen from the Foresteria frescoes.

During the runaway will be presented, in absolute preview, a new model of the winter collection, Wunderkrammer, inspired by the fresco “The walk of the Mandarin” by Giandomenico Tiepolo, located in the Foresteria of the villa. “A dress – underlines the young designer – that I consider the one that has so far managed to express the most my personal idea of elegance.”

From Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th July, the collection will be hosted in the welcoming spaces of the “La Beccaccia” in Arcugnano (VI), a place out of time, where you can feel at home, perhaps enjoying the Cabernet Franc of the Arcugnano Farm.
