With spring you feel more tired and your immune defenses diminish, here because eating healthy and well helps to face everyday life better and we at AbanoRitz know this well by offering our public dedicated menus and diversified gastronomic proposals within three restaurants, two for our internal guests and one open to outsiders, each identified by its own concept.
Lunches and dinners at White Gloves Restaurant
With the coming of Easter we have already published the themed menu for the White Gloves Restaurant which every day offers our guests the opportunity to eat lunch and dinner with a buffet of raw and cooked vegetables always present and various proposals for first courses, second courses and desserts that change every day according to seasonality and the best traditional recipes that alternate with international cuisine.
The kitchen is also open for those staying in B&B, with the possibility to consume an à la carte menu, the complete menu or, for the most demanding palates, the Grande Carte!
For vegetarians it will be easy to recognize their own marked dishes, alongside gluten-free dishes and the Light Menù for those who want to be light and, upon notification, personalized dishes for special needs or food intolerances. For our younger guests there is no lack of proposals and accommodations based on the needs to guarantee the comfort of a meal with a capital M!
Easy Barbecue: the easy lunch!
In this month of April Easy Barbecue reopens for a lunch in the nature of our park-garden, near the pools. An informal and outdoor solution with a buffet rich in hot and cold appetizers, vegetables, pasta dishes, fruit and desserts. At the refrigerated counter you can choose the meat or fish you want to be served by our staff after the Chef has grilled your favorite portion!
For our guests it is open every day from 13.00 to 14.00 pm, by reservation before 11.00 am and with a small supplement for the external service of five euros. Experience the pleasure of sharing a lunch in a bathrobe!
The Ugly Duckling Vintage Restaurant for dinners from the belly to the heart…
Our vintage restaurant the Ugly Duckling announces to all the new spring-summer menu, full of curious proposals and always in the name of pure taste! Also open to outsiders on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings from 7.30 pm, it offers a refined and creative à la carte menu in a vintage setting designed and created by the artist Walter Davanzo. An intimate restaurant in the spaces (11 tables) but above all in the atmosphere made of tasty notes and authentic flavors of foods that are expressed from the belly to the heart!
The culinary additions that do well
For help in choosing the most suitable food combinations during our meals and for a balanced daily caloric intake – with us, at home or wherever you are – even if time is often lacking, you can easily and quickly resort to a menu made up of culinary additions to be taken during the week to compose complete, healthy meals and, very important, seasonal meals.
So here are eight different additions for each day of the week or in relation to tastes and needs, based on carbohydrates (pasta-cereals-bread) with abundant vegetables and proteins. We could not miss a combination with a sweet taste, perhaps to be taken mid-morning, mid-afternoon or as a dessert!
Light: toasted bread + grilled zucchini + ricotta + almonds
Energizing: pasta + raw tomato smoothie, oil, salt and parsley + natural mackerel + olives
Breaks hunger: toasted milk sandwich + scrambled eggs + braised spring onions
Vegetarian: rice + boiled asparagus + boiled fine peas + raw or cooked carrots + pineapple in syrup
Tasty: quinoa + eggs in diced omelette + browned bacon + boiled fine peas
Marinara: couscous + prawns sautéed with oil, lime and chives + natural mackerel + grilled zucchini + boiled and peeled broad beans
Traditional: Toasted sandwich bread + mixed salad + baked ham + tarragon mayonnaise
Sweet: Yogurt + hazelnuts and almonds + bananas and raspberries
