THE JUJUBES IN THE ABANORITZ PARK AND THE PARTY ABOUT THEM..

At the end of the AbanoRitz park, towards the street, there are some Jujubes trees whose foliages are shining and with small leaves. The main tree is older then 35 years and still grows luxuriant along the strong perimeter wall which was built in the 70s; whereas, nearby, next to the grapevine, the 10 years old trees peep out.
The jujube tree arrived in Italy around 1660 and now it’s typical in the Euganean Hills where every year, in the fruits maturation season, at the beginning of October, in Arquà Petrarca takes place the “Jujube Festival”
