The Pietro D’Abano Thermal Studies Center, together with the Department of Biology of the University of Padua with whom it has been working for a long time, and the Department of Environmental Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark, presented his work at the 6th Congress of the International Society of Applied Phychology held in Nantes, France, at the end of June.

It is not just a good scientific opportunity, but also a chance to promote the Euganean thermal area, one of the first in the world to value research as a fundamental tool for knowledge of its inestimable resource. The best way to make the difference is to stand out for quality and competence.

The presentation at the Congress, entitled “Euganean Thermal Mud: An Ancient Biotechnological Product for Anti-Inflammatory Therapy“, is an excerpt from a current research project. The three-year study focuses on the identification of new, high-value therapeutic efficacy compounds present in the Euganean mud (such as the already known MGDG and DGDG anti-inflammatory compound).

Here is the paper presented to the Congress. For more information, you can also follow the Studies Center‘s Facebook page.
